Overview

Lahaul and Spiti are perfect locations for nature lovers and trekkers too. Located at an altitude of 3340m in the north eastern corner, these are the two remote villages of Himachal Pradesh. Before these two districts were combined, the Lahaul capital was Kardang and Dhankar was the capital of Spiti. But now, these are spread over an area of 13835 sq. km and as per 2001 census, the total populations of these districts were recorded around 33,224.

The breathtaking snow capped hills and the craggy beauty of these regions lure the travelers. Lahaul and Spiti are two isolated Himalayan valleys of Himachal Pradesh that lie on the Indo-Tibet border. A beautiful land of captivating Buddhist art and culture- Lahaul is distinguished by inflicting mountains and glaciers while the vegetation, climate and the landscape of Spiti are similar to that of Tibet. That's why the village of Spiti is also popular as 'Little Tibet.

The treacherous curves that lead to the valley of Spiti from Manali will give you a dose of adventure and beauty all at once. This is your chance to experience the thrill of traveling through the famous Rohang Pass. Don't forget to notice your surroundings because a beautiful change is taking place in your surroundings. It is here you'll notice landscapes change from shades of green to brown.

  • Travel Insurance, items of personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry etc.
  • Any entry fees, extra expenses for optional activities or tickets, unless quoted in Inclusions.
  • Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
  • Ropeway charges, Skiing or other snow activities you do there
  • GST (5%) is applicable extra.
  • Anything which is not mentioned in the above inclusions.

  • Confirmation of all the bookings will be done on 100% payment
  • No boarding without valid govt. approved ID
  • We do not have any Insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft or any other reason. Guest are advised to seek such Insurance in advance.
  • Factors such as weather, road conditions, physical abilities of the participants etc... may dictate Itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in interest of safety, comfort and general well-being.
  • We do not allow smoking during the travel in bus. Travel Devils reserve the right to discontinue your trip at any point on the grounds of misconduct and no refund will be made under such circumstances.
  • Departure time is fixed as given and its on you to update your status to the trip coordinator. Trip coordinator will also try to call you atleast thrice but Travel Devils is not responsible for phone not getting connected.
  • The person making the reservation is responsible for any damages caused to room / camp furnishings and fixtures and is liable to pay for the same.
  • Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges - by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
  • In the Hilly Terrain, it will be discretion of the driver to put off the systems of the vehicle like Air Conditioner, sound system. Focus will always be on safety
  • In case of any injuries/illness during the trip/activity, Travel Devils as a Tour operator or any of our local staff will not be responsible
  • It is understood that any expensese.g. hotels, meals, transport, telephone calls, repairing of vehicle etc) relating to the unscheduled extensions like natural calamity, break down of vehicle, any other delays which is beyond our control will be bear by the passengers and no refund will be given in any such scenario
  • All the sightseeing is strictly subjected to weather condition and guidelines issued by the government or local authorities.
  • During Covid-19, all the rules and regulations will be followed as defined by the state govts. Any extra cost in following such rules like Isolation/Quarantine or admission in hospital or treatment for illness during the trip or any transport cost to follow isolation rules will be bear by the customer.
  • Above 10 days from Travel Date: 50% of advance refund, 5-10 Days: 25% of advance refund & Less than 5 days: No Refund There are no refund for no-shows. No refund for early check-outs. Any meal, activity or service not availed by the guest will not be adjusted in the Package cost and will not be refunded in any cost. Due to a grave financial crisis in the travel industry caused by the pandemic and the countrywide lockdown, we have imposed stricter policies on Trip cancellations due to Political unrest or State Govt. guidelines or extremely poor weather or unsafe river or environmental conditions. We will be providing a full credit but no refunds in such circumstances. You will be able to use the credit amount (equal to the booking amount) for any future booking with Travel Devils.
